Married at First Sight star Jackson Lonie admits he did X-rated stunt to avoid filming
Married at First Sight Australia Star Jackson Lonie has opened up about some behind-the-scenes secrets from the hit reality show.
He was partnered with bride Olivia Frazer throughout the experience and while the pair saw their fair share of on-screen drama, it seems Jackson was causing trouble off-camera as well.
Reflecting on his time on the show, Jackson revealed that he used a special trick whenever he didn’t feel like filming.

“I always answered the door naked so they wouldn’t want to come in,” he told the Daily mail.
Thinking back on what it was like to be filmed having difficult relationship discussions, Jackson urged any future Married at first sight couples to trust their own instincts.
“If you start to feel like the bad guy, I would argue with the producers, but you have to trust your instincts,” he explained. “If you feel like your producer is pushing you in a certain direction, it’s because they’ve created a narrative for you and you just have to do what’s right for you.”

Unfortunately, Jackson and Olivia didn’t have their happily ever after beyond the show.
While they ended the series on good terms, the couple eventually split and confirmed the news last month with a joint Instagram post.
“After 10 wonderful months together, we have decided to go our separate ways. [sic] manners,” they wrote. “There has always been a great deal of love in our relationship and there will continue to be as we transition into a friendship.”
