GPGPU-based embedded computer board for artificial intelligence (AI) applications introduced by Abaco

HUNTSVILLE, Alabama – Abaco Systems Inc. in Huntsville, Ala. Introduces the GRA115S Rugged 3U VPX VITA 65 High-Performance Single Board Computer with Graphics Outboard for Military and Aerospace Applications in Artificial Intelligence (AI) Inference, Deep Learning, Sensor Processing and Analysis Datas.

The board aligns with the Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA) open systems standard and is targeted at high performance general purpose graphics processing unit (GPGPU) computing and graphics generation applications.

Other applications include Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR); electronic warfare (EW); infrared sensors; and data science.

The GRA115S also offers support for AXIS ImageFlex which makes application development easier and faster. The card is based on the NVIDIA Turing architecture using NVIDIA RTX5000 or RTX3000 GPGPUs.

Both versions use NVIDIA GPUDirect remote direct memory access (RDMA) to minimize latency for real-time video and data streaming, and deliver real-time performance for encoding applications with graphics engines. dedicated H.265 and H.264 encoding and decoding.
