ADVA has launched a secure optical transport solution using post-quantum cryptography (PQC). ConnectGuard FSP 3000 optical encryption solution now protects data against quantum computer cyberattacks that could break today’s cryptographic algorithms.

Quantum-safe security technology is based on a hybrid key exchange system, combining PQC algorithms with traditional encryption methods. Designed for crypto-agility, the solution is ready for software updates in the future, ensuring it delivers the most robust network protection today and for decades to come.

This allows it to produce encryption keys that even powerful quantum computers cannot decipher. In addition to providing data integrity with quantum layer 1 AES-256 protection, the ADVA FSP 3000 ConnectGuard encryption solution ensures minimal impact on latency, throughput and performance. The technology is also easily deployable over long distance and multi-operator links.
